Colpurin™ is a colon cleanser, and is widely available through the worldwide mass market. Colpurin™ is produced by the company Huntington Nutraceuticals, which is in the business of producing colon cleansers and a variety of other products for dieting and weight loss. Colpurin™ is claimed to provide a “unique solution” to a “common problem”, which is accumulated toxicity in the bloodstream and in the intestines.
The toxicity is the result of probably years and years of accumulation. Modern diets, which include the fast food mania, all contribute to the accumulation of gunk in the human intestines. Fortunately, there are ways to remove the so called intestinal plaque without compromising one’s budget.
Colpurin™ is one of the pricier colon cleansing products in the market -
Purported benefits of Colpurin™ include the improvement of energy levels, colon cleansing and weight loss. Let’s discuss the basics of these claims. First of all, high toxin levels in the body translate to a weaker, more susceptible body. If the immune system is compromised, there just might a chance that the whole system will crumble.
Now, products like Colpurin™ take the bat to make sure that at least a percentage
of these chemicals are removed from the system through systematic “flushing” and
expulsion. The active ingredients of Colpurin™ include lemon peel, ispaghula husk
and ginger root. These ingredients, along with a few other herbal-
Psyllium husk for instance, has been proven to adequately take care of solid and semisolid waste in the body. Juice drinks have been around since the early nineties, using Psyllium husk as a main ingredient. Psyllium provides the bulk of the fiber that takes care of the colon. The rest are supplementary ingredients that only serve to enhance the effect of the fiber.
1) One of the main complaints of Colpurin™ is that it claims to be at least partly a weight loss remedy and yet it doesn’t have any active ingredients related to this activity. It seems that we have to content ourselves with specific weight loss products that serve to suspend signals from the hypothalamus.
2) On a lighter note, the disadvantages of using Colpurin™ is linked mainly with
its active ingredients. For example, the presence of beet root might be a problem
with those who have an allergy to all kinds of root-
3) Basically, what will happen when one of these active ingredients irritate the body? The most basic ailments would be nausea, a bit of bleeding (in extreme cases) or a general feeling of malaise. Since most of the ingredients are neutral however, there would be no real reason to worry.
As for the marketing aspect, the website that sells the product directly from the
manufacturer requires a 25% processing fee for all deliveries and money-
